Elite GarageMakeovers

Why Elite Garage

Organized, not just emptied.

A haul-away empties your garage. We plan it with you, sort it with you, build storage that stays up, and show you the proof.

Our promise

Organized, in writing.

Anyone can fill a truck or hang a shelf, so we wrote down what we do. Every package works to the same five-part standard: how we plan it with you, what's on the checklist, how storage goes up, what you get to see, and what happens if something isn't right.

Part 1 of the standard

The design plan

Nothing moves until we've planned it with you. At a free design visit we measure, see what you store and ask how you want to use the space, then send a zone plan and a fixed written price.

What we measure

  • Every wall's length, and the ceiling height and joists
  • Garage door and opener clearance
  • Your car: where it parks and how far its doors open
  • Outlets, lights and the door into the house
  • What you store, and what you'd like to use the garage for

What you get

A zone plan for every wall and the ceiling, the storage we'd use, and one fixed price in writing. It only changes if you change the plan. An Organized Garage for a 2-car garage starts from $2,995.

Part 2 of the standard

The written checklist

Every kind of job has its own list, written section by section, and the same list is worked every time. Pick a job to see its list, word for word.

The details we're known for

The things a quick haul-away skips are written into ours.

  • You decide every item

Keep, recycle or toss, item by item, with paperwork and keepsakes set aside for you.

    Every package

  • Oil spots and door tracks

Degreased and scrubbed, and the garage door's panels and tracks wiped down.

    Every package

  • Car clearance

Checked before anything goes up: doors open fully, the hood and garage door clear.

    Organized GarageGarage Transformation

  • Labels that match

Clear bins with printed labels, all one style, facing out.

Clean-out day

21 checks

Empty and sort

  • Everything carried out onto tarps on the driveway, grouped as it comes out
  • Sorted with you into keep, recycle and toss
  • Keep items grouped by type: tools, sports, garden, seasonal, car care, household
  • Paperwork, photos, keepsakes and anything valuable set aside for you to decide
  • Hazardous materials set aside and listed for you

Ceiling, walls and windows

  • Cobwebs, dust and old nests brought down from the ceiling, joists and corners
  • Walls, ledges and existing shelves dusted top to bottom
  • Windows cleaned inside, sills and tracks vacuumed
  • Garage door panels, tracks and the inside of the door wiped down
  • Light fixtures, the opener housing, switches and outlets dusted and wiped
  • The door into the house and its frame wiped clean

Floor

  • Floor swept and vacuumed, edges and corners included
  • Oil and grease spots treated with degreaser and scrubbed
  • Whole floor scrubbed and rinsed, or mopped where water can't drain, then left to dry
  • Threshold, the door's bottom seal and any floor drain cleared

Haul-away

  • Toss and recycling loaded on our truck, up to your package's allowance
  • Metal, cardboard and electronics taken to the right recycling drop-off
  • Driveway swept clean after loading

Put back

  • Keep items back inside in temporary zones, everyday things nearest the door
  • Heavy items low, nothing stacked higher than is safe to reach
  • A clear walkway from the house door to the car

The crew ticks each line as they go, and the finished list comes back to you with the photos.

Part 3 of the standard

Built to hold

Storage only works if it stays up. These rules go with every shelf, rail and rack we install, and every crew member works to them.

  • Studs and joists first

Every stud and joist is found and marked before we drill, and we check for wires and pipes.

  • Never drywall alone

Wall track goes into the studs and ceiling racks into the joists. Nothing that carries weight hangs on drywall anchors alone.

  • Within its rated load

Every shelf and rack stays within its rating, with the heaviest things low or in the middle of the rack.

  • Clear of the garage door

Overhead racks are hung clear of the door, its tracks and the opener, and we run the door fully open and closed to check.

  • Room for your car

Storage is planned around where your car parks, so its doors open fully and nothing is in the way of the hood.

  • Electrical by electricians

Our lights go in existing sockets and outlets. New wiring is done by a licensed electrician, through a partner.

  • Hazardous materials set aside

Paint, solvents, propane and fuel are never loaded on our truck. We list them for your county's hazardous waste days.

Part 4 of the standard

The reveal, with proof

Before we leave, we walk you round every zone so you know where everything lives. Then you get a report that shows the work: the same walls, from the same spots, before and after.

  4. 4Anything we noticed: leaks, damaged drywall, pests or garage door problems

Finishing touches

Small details that show the work was done to the standard.

  • Every label the same style, facing out
  • Floor dry and swept, driveway clean
  • Hooks, shelves and racks level and in straight lines
  • Cabinet doors and drawers closing evenly, workbench clear

How pricing works

From-prices by garage size, confirmed in writing before you book, with haul-away built in.

Priced by garage size
1-car, 2-car and 3-car garages each have a from-price. Each service page shows the price for your size.
Confirmed at a free design visit
We measure, see what's stored and agree the plan with you, then give you a fixed written price. It only changes if you change the plan.
Bigger garages
Bigger garages, detached garages and workshops are priced after the design visit.
Haul-away
Haul-away over a package's allowance is $50 per cubic yard, agreed with you before we load it. Tires, mattresses, appliances with refrigerant and electronics are charged at our disposal cost. We never haul hazardous materials.
Deposit
A 25% deposit books your clean-out, install day or Care visit; the balance is due at the reveal. The design visit is free.
Travel and tax
Garages more than 75 miles away (one way) add a $50 travel fee to each project and each Care visit. Prices are before New Jersey sales tax (6.625%).
